The previous website had no terms of service – only house rules, which govern conduct on site rather than the terms of the contract. A lawyer is preparing this document.

What applies right now

Until the full terms are published, the following apply:

  • House rules – check-in and check-out, quiet hours, use of the boats, responsibility for equipment and property,
  • the terms agreed individually by e-mail when the booking is confirmed.

Still to be added

The following is not on the old website and requires a decision from the owner:

  • the amount of the deposit and when it must be paid,
  • cancellation terms and deadlines, and refund of the deposit,
  • the refundable security deposit and how it is settled,
  • additional charges: final cleaning, bed linen, towels, boat fuel, pets,
  • the minimum length of stay and changeover days,
  • rules for changing a booking date,
  • liability for damage and how it is reported,
  • complaints and dispute resolution, and the governing law (Norwegian),
  • the company’s registration details, including the organisation number.
