Rorbu

Rorbu is a traditional Norwegian fishing cabin. At Fagervika they stand right at the water’s edge in a sheltered bay, and it is 10 - 15 metres from your door to the jetty where the boats are moored.

All guests share the same facilities: a filleting room with a large worktop, running water and freezers, a drying room for clothes and boots, a barbecue and a floating jetty.

We have three cabins: two for four people and one for eight. All of them have a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, electric heating and access to the shared filleting room.

Rorbu cabins

The property is constantly being renovated and modernised. This means you will probably find an even higher standard than the current photos show.

The largest of the three cabins: 75 m² and eight beds across three bedrooms. Two bathrooms mean nobody queues after a day on the water. The windows face the mountains, and it is fifteen metres to the jetty with the boats. The kitchen has a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a fridge and a freezer. Pets are welcome.

Boats

We currently have four boats: Alumarin, Lugafo and Kassboll. All of them have Suzuki engines, a Garmin fish finder and GPS, rod holders and lighting that makes trips possible at any time of day.

An aluminium boat, twenty-two feet long, with a Suzuki 115 hp engine, built with longer trips and fjord fishing in mind. The centre console leaves room to move freely around the deck, and a Garmin fish finder with chartplotter and GPS makes it easier to navigate and find the fishing grounds. The lighting makes the boat comfortable to use after dark as well. The spacious deck is laid out so that six people can fish in comfort.
